Wise advice:

“When you are in deep trouble, say nothing, and try to look like you know what you’re doing.”

I can think of many situations where it might be dangerous to let on that you are lost or feel out of place, such as when traveling. When threatened, it’s foolish to display too much bravado, but just as foolish to appear weak or out of control.

So maybe the fox is right!
